1.01 DOOR SECTIONS

Door sections shall be of steel/polyurethane/steel sandwich type construction. The TM will have a .022 embossed exterior. Tongue and groove design will provide weather tight meeting rails.
1.02 FINISH

Factory finish will be baked-on polyester primer and white polyester finish coat.
1.03 GLAZING

Optional 1/8", ¼", or ½" glazing available in 24" x 6" porthole Window or aluminum sash sections.
1.04 TRACK

All track vertical mounting angles and brackets will be ASTM-526 commercial quality 15 GA. G-40 hot-dipped galvanized steel. Available in 2" or 3" type with graduated wedge type weather tight closing.
1.05 HARDWARE

All hinges and brackets will be made from hot-dipped galvanized steel. Track rollers will be case hardened inner steel races with 10 ball bearings for 2" or 3" track.
1.06 COUNTERBALANCE

Springs will be torsion type per ASTM-229 to provide a minimum of 10,000 cycles of use.(Higher cycle spring options available.) Spring fittings and drums will be made of die-cast high strength aluminum. Pre-formed galvanized steel aircraft cables with a minimum of 5:1 cable safety factor.
1.07 LOCKS

Interior slidelock with hole to receive a padlock standard. Optional keyed rim-cylinder lock bar available.
1.08 WINDLOAD

Doors will meet or exceed 15.2 PSF windload per ANSI/NAGDEM 102-1988 in accordance with ASTM E-330-70.
